My passion and appreciation for Canada started at a young age when my family and I immigrated from Poland in the late 1980s. Given my Polish roots, I had the privilege of being part of the living history which shaped my life as a traveller, history nerd and motor head. Although most of my life has now been spent in the Greater Vancouver area, I have spent many days and weeks exploring various corners of the world. I even spent 3 years in Brisbane (Australia) studying, working and roaming by bicycle or motorcycle. As part of the benefits of living in Vancouver, I have been able to enjoy sailing which is how I met my wife, Jane. With her, I have experienced SCUBA diving and offshore cruising in the South Pacific, even through gale force winds!
Becoming a lawyer stemmed from an interest in assisting others. I strongly believe in preventative maintenance, like on boats or bikes, and hope to share my knowledge by helping the young and not-so-young plan for the future of their loved ones. In particular, raising awareness amongst young couples and families. Estate planning is essential for ensuring your legacy and provides you with peace of mind.
